What is the difference between PET plastic bottle and PP plastic

Update:25 Nov 2020

Both PET plastic bottles and PP plastic bottles are a kind of plastic products, but there are also big differences between them. PP plastic bottle is a kind of non-toxic food container. Its high temperature resistance performance is very good. It can be used as the outer shell of a kettle. It can be used in milk bottles and other food containers. However, the high temperature resistance of PET plastic bottles is not as good as that of PP plastic bottles, and the carbonated drinks we usually drink, such as Coke, Sprite, and some juice packaging plastic bottles are made of it.

Any plastic product has a temperature limit when it is used. If the temperature is too high, it will decompose a harmful substance, or our plastic will be easily softened. Many of the beverage bottles and liquid packaging plastic bottles we drink every day are not resistant to high temperatures. So we need to pay attention when using it.

The appearance of the bottle mouth of PET plastic bottle is relatively neat. The end face of the bottle mouth is very flat, the thread is relatively complete, and there is no damage gap. Moreover, its crystallinity is very good. There is no material benefit and no thread drawing phenomenon.

The whole plastic bottle will not deform and there is no oil stain inside. The molding degree of the bottle body is very good, and the transparency is also very high. There are no black spots, scratches, atomization, whitening and hardening. The color of the bottle should be uniform without any obvious color difference. The bottom of the bottle is not sunken, and there is no protruding place. There is no crack or delamination at the bottom of the bottle.
