Plastic bottle cap factory production process

Update:09 Dec 2020

Conventional injection molding system
Conventional injection molding system refers to the general injection molding system of thermoplastic. It consists of plastic parts for molding and post molding, as well as injection machines and injection moulds for ensuring the molding of plastic parts.

Working cycle
During the whole injection molding cycle of plastic bottle cap production, there are several actions:
(1) Measurement: in order to form a certain size of plastic parts, a certain amount of granular plastic must be used, which requires measurement.
(2) Plasticizing: in order to fill the mold cavity with plastic, it is necessary to make it melt, and flow into the mold cavity.
(3) Injection filling: in order to fill the mold cavity with molten plastic, it is necessary to apply injection pressure to the molten plastic, and inject into the mold cavity.
(4) Packing densification (precooling): after the molten plastic fills the cavity, the material needed for the cooling shrinkage of the product is added to the mold cavity.
(5) Cooling of products: after the end of pressure maintaining, the products immediately begin to enter the stage of formal cooling and finalization.
(6) Mold opening: after the product is cooled and shaped, the mold closing device of the injection machine drives the separation of the moving part and the fixed part of the mold, that is, opening the mold.
(7) Ejector: ejection mechanism of injection machine ejects plastic parts.
(8) Pick up: take out the plastic parts and the cooling material of the winding injection system by manpower or manipulator.
(9) Mold closing: the mold is closed and locked by the mold closing device of the injection machine (after the safety door is closed)
(10) Forward and backward of injection seat: in the process of injection molding, sometimes it is necessary to move the injection seat forward or backward. If the injection seat is always in contact with the mold nozzle during the whole working cycle, it is called fixed feeding method; if the feeding measurement of plastic is completed before the injection seat retreats, it is called front feeding method; if the feeding measurement of plastic is conducted after the injection seat is withdrawn, it is called post feeding method.
